Blog stage 2

On September 20th of this year, New York Times published the article California Gives Expanded Rights to Noncitizens. This article talks about how the California government has challenged a new way of life for non-citizens. Expanding the views and regulations we have already made with "non-citizens" and what they are aloud to do. The article briefly touches a couple points about how non-citizens can participate in a numerous number of activities such as the sitting in juries or monitoring polls in which they cannot vote. The real question is, is this okay to do that? With being said in the article that there exists nearly 3.5 million non citizens, is it okay to "roll with the population"? The real argument or controversy is whether it is smart to allow this bill to pass. "Several newspaper editorials have urged Mr. Brown to veto it." states the article, but as citizens around the world, what is the right decision? Can we trust our non-citizens who live among us to take that next step, or as citizens do we agree that it is not fair to change our original beliefs and standards?
